Commercial Garage Door Repairs MN In Minneapolis, Minnesota we recently came across a Garage Door where the customer had re-faced the door with some decorative trim and hardware. While doing this project the homeowner added roughly 30-40lbs of weight to the garage door. By adding this weight eventually the door would have malfunctioned. The customer called us to come and rebalance his garage door to make sure it was operating safely and smoothly. We went over a couple options from replacement to just adding some tension to the current spring system. It was the customer’s decision to just add tension to the current spring to help alleviate some of the added weight.
